What we collect
For a purchase we process your name, email address, optional phone number, shipping address, products ordered, order totals, provider transaction identifiers, fulfillment state, and shipment/tracking information.
PRIVACY
Minimal data by design.
Black Metal Buddha collects only the information needed to take, fulfill, support, and account for an order.
Payments
Payment is completed on Square's hosted checkout. Black Metal Buddha does not receive or store your full card number or CVV. We retain Square order/payment identifiers and payment status so we can reconcile purchases and refunds.
Fulfillment
We send the recipient and order information needed for production and shipping to Printful. Printful and its shipping providers process that information to manufacture and deliver the order.
Browser storage
The cart uses your browser's local storage. Shipping form data is not placed in local storage by the Black Metal Buddha application. The active order number may briefly be kept in session storage during the redirect to Square.
Retention
Order, payment-status, refund, and accounting records may be retained as needed to operate the store, resolve disputes, prevent duplicate fulfillment, and meet tax or legal obligations. We aim not to retain personal information that no longer serves an operational or legal purpose.
Advertising and sale of data
Black Metal Buddha does not sell customer personal information. The current storefront does not use advertising trackers. If that changes, this notice will be updated before those tools are enabled.
Security
The site uses HTTPS, server-side price verification, signed provider webhooks, restricted admin access, and a minimal payment-data boundary. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
